CBS will be airing the fifteenth cycle of The Amazing Race premiering Sunday, September 27th at 8/7c.

Commencing the season with a long flight to Tokyo, Japan, the 12 teams of two will traverse the world, competing in challenges along the way, all in a race to win a million dollars.

This season commences with an elimination, according to the rumours, and will introduce a new twist, the Switchback allows racing teams to send other teams back to one of the most challenge Roadblocks of the series.

The fifteenth season spans eight countries in 21 days and introduces new features to the race: One team will be eliminated right at the start and there will be a new twist, the Switchback, where teams will be sent back to one of the series' most challenging Roadblocks.

Their first task was on a sneek peek of the next season at The Amazing Race's website. They had to search for Licence plates with a phrase in Japanese listed on their clue.
